Why Every Girl Needs A Guy Best Friend

I am going to ramble a bit about My GBF. Apologies ahead. :D
I am lucky to have GBF, a real GBF not some guy who secretly in love with me. NO. But I do love them so much. Family love.
Let me talk about my experience based on this article :Why Every Girl Needs A Guy Best Friend

1. He knows you're not a mind reader
I'm not sure about this one, but it's true that I never have to worry about breaking girl code. Like If I do something wrong towards them, they will tell me and not be sulky about it and expect me to know everything. I cannot read your mind every time boys.

2. No drunk crying
TBH, I've never been into this situation before but know that they really take good care of me when I am pre-drunk.

3. Spend less money
Because I'm not their girlfriend so when we go to the mall or tamu together, we just buy what we want and leave. But we do window shopping a bit. Buy drinks and leave.

4. You'll always have a date
I've never go to a wedding with my GBF, probably in the future I will. Since everyone around us know pretty much about our relationship, they wouldn't go and say "when will you guys get married?".

5. He won't mess up your cycle
So true! :D :D

6. No unnecessary conversations
When we want to go out, simple text messages would be enough. Like "Jum keluar", "Bah ok", "Pukul 5 saya ambil", "orite". No "Kau pakai baju merah? sebab saya pakai baju merah" that kind of stuff.

7. The best gossip
Yes! You say girls like to gossip? Guys are just the same. I got many gossips from my GBF. But of course I am tight lipped person. Eventually I forgot all about it. Heck I don't even remember any of it now.

8. Calories don't matter
I eat like a pig in front of them. No one cares. And when I don't finish my food they can always finish it for me. Food not wasted. Problem solved!

9. Honest advice
They always give advises like a parent would be, but in a more friend kind of way. They will just pour out their mind. And I'll end up agreeing with almost all their advises, because clearly they are way more mature than me sometimes.

Additional

10. Borrowed "boyfriend"
When you want to show other people that you are not single, you can always borrow them. Heck, you can also borrow them to piss off your ex boyfriend. True story. *Provided their girlfriend is not around. But if their girlfriend is cool, then its cool. :D

10. Cursing is just one way of showing affection
I curse a lot. Like A LOT. I think I'm the reason they start cursing too. My bad. My girlfriend and I love cursing but we only use it when we are together. No chance I'm using it at home now wouldn't I. I'll try to limit it since I am older now (and wiser).

11. Shoulder to lean on
Literally means shoulder to lean on. Like when we are in a car and I am tired, I can always lean on their shoulder and sleep. And I'll make sure no saliva on their shoulder. eww. But of course, they are a good listener and will always support me.

2011. Because u guys are always there for me.
(And all 5sc1 guys are my bestfriends too, haha)

lots of love

Stickman, King Midas and others

Yesterday was Thaipusam, which I never bother to celebrate because as I grew up in Sabah, Thaipusam had never been a state holiday. I mean only certain states celebrate it (and got one day holiday) so when I first experience this celebration here in Perak, well, I have nothing much to say though, except to boast about it to my Sabahan friends at SABAH (because yunno Sabah no holiday, hoho)

So, I’ve been diligently jogging every evening. We have this regular team joggers (all are classmates), which I just realize just now, are all BORNEO people! Ok except for Pidah who is a Kelantanese. It’s not like we didn’t expand our “jogger community” to other classmates, but every time I invite them to our “let’s go jogging so we lose fat evening”, they always give excuses. Well, who am I to judge. Everyone has their own way of losing fat (and be healthy *cough*).

Back to the title, we have this one subject LGA – language arts, where this Sem we are required to stage a drama or play as an assignment (I think, is it?). Since this subject has no exam, our play/drama will probably carries 100% marks. I hope no UAK because I so lazy to study ok.

So my teammates include 5 people. It is so difficult to come out with one decent play yunno. Nevertheless, we choose King Midas – the King who has gold touch. And of course we adapt it so that each of us have our own character and a fair share of screen time during the play. BUT, that is also a problem for us! We are still discussing about the plot and doing drafts here and there. We have to finish everything by March and stage our play early March. We pretty much don’t have enough time. But whatever.

So this was our first draft from Pidah (which is not so clear) and his stickman. Which is probably better than my stickman.

Second draft featuring my stickman with spike hair, curl hair, and a broom. yes, the witch is holding a broom. I call this abstract stickman art.

lots of arts

52 Week Money Challenge

so I found this on the internet (Facebook), and I was thinking, why not I challenge myself to do this? It seems interesting. But since I am still a student, I may forfeit this challenge at any time. You know, when I don't have money. Santi said it is better to do it backwards, meaning that, for first week instead of keeping $1, its better to keep $52 and for second week keep $51 and so on.
Maybe it is a good idea cause I know towards the end of the year, we don't have that much money left especially for us, IPG-ian who rely on allowance so much.
For now, I am still doing it normally. I am now in second week. We'll see how it goes. I may stop when I really don't have money anymore. Aigoo~
Jia You!

Random: Last night rambling

Last night at home, going back to campus tomorrow.
I don't want to go back. I want to see my baby brother on his first day in kindergarten.
I feel so bad for not being there on his first day at school. Gosh this feeling.
He was so happy when he got his uniform. He never let go of his tiny bag and always check his stationery in the bag. Like, "mana saya punya pemadam?" "mana pembaris saya?"

It is never easy to say goodbye, even if its just for a while.
Kisah hidup merantau. Luckily it is only perak. Kalau dapat London ka, America ka, lagi teruk. ohmy!
Hope everything will be ok tomorrow. Jangan delay. Jangan ada masalah ok.
God bless our journey.

Lots of love

2014 Resolutions. In Brief.

2014 resolutions
  1. Burn those embarrassing belly fat! Go go!
  2. Conquer Mount Kinabalu!
  3. Increase my exam pointer! Do the best in practicum!
  4. Travel outside Malaysia! Oh yeah!
  5. Eat healthily!
  6. Spend money wisely!
  7. Make no enemies!
  8. Once again, expand my social community! *should go to more wedding invitation now*
  9. Take good care of my health.
  10. LIVE HAPPILY.

Happy New Year 2014! My resolutions this year seem more like a wish list, list of things I need to do rather than to achieve, but I think it is just the same. What’s important is at the end of the day, I managed to follow and accomplished my own resolutions.

Like last year, I am actually pretty serious with my resolutions. It acts as a reminder to me, things I need to do in my life, things I need to focus and achieved so that I don’t deviate from my present path to become a respectable human and a future teacher. I am getting older, I think it’s time I should act my age. But deep down I’m still a child. My mom said “selagi belum kahwin, masih tanggungan keluarga, kamu (refer to me and siblings) tu masih tanggungjawab kami”. Well, I guess I am still a child then.

I hope this year, everything will turn out to be just fine. Above all, thank God for everything.
Shout out to my parents, siblings, grandmas, grandpa, aldo, BFFs, new and old friends from all over the world, I wish you guys A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 and let the party beginnnnn!

Happy TUKAR TAHUN!

Here's my twins trying to wish happy new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014, HUGS AND KISSES
