Another Story Of My Life

Reply 1994, I’m officially joining the fence!

In my previous post, I did say that my favourite drama of the four that I mentioned was The Heirs. I still love it but I love Reply 1994 more now. Reason is, our Trash oppa and Chilbongie! I am Trash oppa team from the beginning of the drama but that was before my Chilbong enter the story and melt my heart. Gosh, my inner fan girl comes out.  The reason why it is different from The Heirs is, the two male lead get the same share of romance with the female lead. As for The Heirs, only Kim Tan get to have cutey kissy scene with Eun Sang. My poor Young Do. *let me hug u*

As the episode reaches its 11th episode this Saturday, (no show on Friday because of the MAMA thingy), we will get more romance and heartbroken scenes but I totally root for Chilbong, coz he is so cute! I wonder, is binggrae likes Trash oppa here? Or just treats him like a big brother? Coz in Reply 1997, Joon Hee is gay and he likes Yoon Jae. And I totally cool with it. Hahaha. Yoo Yeon-seok who plays Chilbong was dubbed as nation’s bad guy coz he always plays bad guy in the movies he starred in, and I really hate him in the “a werewolf boy”. Good thing he plays good guy in Gu family book. I first saw Jong woo (who plays Trash Oppa) in “my tutor friend” and he was also a bad guy. All the bad guy has turn to good guy now huh. Go Ara should really be thankful to the casting director for casting her in this drama. Her previous dramas was a disappointment. Not that I watch all her dramas. Previously she is just known for her beautiful look and not for her talent. I don’t know who the husband is, and we will have to wait until the end. So, may the best man win (Although Trash Oppa and Chilbong are the best).

Gosh, how many Korean dramas and movies have I watched? I should really learn Korean language now.  Oh and did I mention, The Heirs got its first highest rating last night for its 13th episode. See, with “secret love” gone, viewers decided to switch over to The Heirs. The rating for last night was a whopping 20.6%. *clap clap for The Heirs team*

They are looking at the magic eye

sseureki Oppa, Na jeong, Chilbongie

lots of dramas to root for

Of dramas and Friends

So my holiday started few days ago, and I've been living my life with games, dramas and stuff. You know stuff like eating, sleeping, eat and sleep all over again. And I am still faithfully waiting for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday coz I want to download my dramas. (Duh, talk about crazy drama fan girl). My broadband has been treating me good, the speed is amazing (at certain time duh). So far, nothing amazing happened. I did went out with my buddies yesterday. We laughed and telling each other stories about exam and since we are all TESL-ians, we have more to talk about. That’s the advantage of having your best buddies majoring in the same major.

Dramas quick update: I am totally swooning over Chilbong. That doesn’t mean I don’t love Trash oppa, I love them both but I love Chilbong a bit more, 60 – 40 maybe? More on this later. And just in case you don’t know these characters, it is from Reply 1994/Answer Me 1994. Joon-ah, hugs and kisses. *flying kiss*
And Young Do, even though you are a bastard, you still hot. I feel like I want to bitchslap him and hug him at the same time. But gosh he’s so hot, even hotter than Kim Tan. (and no I don’t mean literally hot like hot sunshine) And yes, this is The Heirs I’m talking about. I hope it gets good rating now since secret love is finished and new drama “Pretty Boy” will come afterward, of which will air tonight. New drama coming into collection baby!

Its 7 pm but it is so dark already. I miss this.

and with this I announce I have the second male lead syndrome!

Korean Drama Craze

Why are people so crazy about Korean drama? Gee, who knows? As for me, I might answer “because of the fantastically and beautifully script written by the writer of course!” ah, who am I kidding. Of course because of the actor and actresses, especially the handsome actor. Hoho
For the next 2 weeks is my exam week, but doesn't mean I don’t have time to watch my Korean drama. One will always have time for Korean drama, especially *those people like me.
*it means people who never miss to watch their favourite drama, more like Otaku, but less obsessive. But of course our interest is more towards Korean drama.  (Oh, Otaku is Japanese term that refers to people with obsessive interests, commonly the anime and manga fandom)*wink*
There are 4 Korean dramas that I've been watching now.

1. The Heirs

2. Marry Him if You Dare

3. Secret Love

4. Reply 1994

And needless I say, this Korean dramas have done a good job in entertaining the audience, people like me.

The first drama “The Heirs” is basically about the romance between the rich lead actor and the poor lead actress and the annoying rich people who are trying to keep their status quo. And of course our handsome lead is LEE MIN HO!  My favourite drama of the four so far. (coz i like high school type drama so much)

Second drama is “Marry Him if You Dare” and it is basically about the future self of the lead actress go back to the present time to prevent the lead actress from marrying our lead actor. I only watch this because the lead actor Lee dong gun, who I last seen in “stained glass” and Jung yong hwa of CN Blue. So far, the story have been delightful especially the 6th episode. We’ll see how it goes next.

The third drama “Secret Love”, I only start watching it because many reviews about the drama have been pointing out the same thing, “IT’S GOOD”. And it really is. Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum acting really portrays their character well. And Ji Sung is especially handsome here considering that he just got married. Huh! The story is about the second lead actor who accidentally killed a woman and his girlfriend who is the lead actress volunteer to go to prison for him only to be betrayed by him. So she seek revenge with the help of the lead actor whose girlfriend is the woman killed by the second lead actor. How complicated is that? Or my explanation is complicated? Haha

The last drama is “Reply 1994” which is the spin-off of the hit tvN drama, “Reply 1997”. It is set in the year 1994 which is 19 years ago. *I feel so old* the story is basically about romance between the actor and actress and like “reply 1997”, we have to guess who is the husband of Na jeong, our lead actress. This is a rom com story so I guess I will be paying more attention to this one. Who doesn't like rom com? Ok fine, not everyone.

OK, so I guess I have to go back to reality and study now. Oh gosh, my laziness is killing me.

lots of study to catch
~annoying korean drama fan girl~xoxo
